Vocalist, Bassist, Guitarist, Audio Engineer, Producer,
Lyricist. Michael's professional
music career began in 1977 at age 15. In the following
three years while fronting the regionally popular
Southern/Classic rock Snowblind, Michael performed
on club stages around his home of Long Island, NY. After
serving in the United States Marine Corp he attended
the Institute of Audio Research in New York's Greenwich
Village. |

While attending the
institute, Mike began work as a technician and sound engineer at the
famed, Top Cat Sound
Studios. While there he had the privilege of working along
side several world renowned artists including Jack Bruce,
Rick Derringer, The Expensive Winos, Roberta Flack, Miss Lena
Horne, Whitney Huston, Chuck Mangione, Melanie, The Outfield,
Patty Smythe and many more. Michael left Top
Cat in 1987 to work for Michael Marozas at Big Mike
Productions. Some clients served there included, Jon Bon Jovi,
Jeff Bova, percussionist Bashiri Johnson members of The Talking
Heads/Tom Tom Club, the Letterman Band, Leslie West and Danny Wilson
to name a few. From 1985 to 1987, Mike was the bassist in the
experimental/industrial rock outfit, Doppler Effect featuring
guitarist/ keyboardist/ producer Kol Marshal and drummer Kevin Baetz.
He worked with Marshal on compositional excursions and several multi
track recordings into the early 1990's. He also formed a heavy metal
band around the same time with drummer extraordinaire Tommy
Darnell and blistering speed metal guitarist Scott Lano of
Blitspeer fame.
In 1989 while recording bass tracks with Mark Silver and
Third Stone, Mike met and soon after partnered with producer/
engineer Dean Sargent. They operated a 24 track analog
recording and production facility. Together they recorded and
produced dozens of demos as well as several highly acclaimed album
projects including their award winning release in 1993 on the
GPR label entitled "Keep The Tradition",
Debra
Johnston's "Works For Me" and Debra Lee's "Millenial Thing. "In 2001 Michael
completed construction on a 675 sq ft Editing/Mastering suite in Westrockhill, Pa., aptly named
Westrock Mastering Services
and
soon after began production on
Randy
Lippincott's "Soul Monkey". The record was recorded live
and released on Michael's Greater Planet Label. He also recorded
Lady Larahna Phipps of the Newark NJ Phipps family of
world class Jazz artists. Then, in May of 2003 Michael
mastered and released his second Blues CD on
Greater
