Baltera's 'Date With Miss Blues'- In the early 1990's
producer and guitarist Billy Baltera came to his
crossroad. Having toured around the world, played and
produced in and around the metro Philadelphia, Pa. area, it
was time for him to put out his own record. His brand of
Blues, influences from more than 25 years backing some of
the greats in the industry. It was time for Billy's 'Date
With Miss Blues'. The resulting record is nothing less
than stellar. With performances from a host of outstanding
rhythm section players to then emerging Blues singer
Georgie Bonds, Philadelphia legends Jeannie and
Carole Brooks, the legendary Sonny Rhodes and
Delaware's late Jim McCarthy. |

Danny Brooks
-'Souled Out n' Live at the Sellersville Theatre' -Produced by
Michael Henegan In June of 2004, singer/songwriter Danny
Brooks performed a 'Souled-Out' concert at Bucks County,
PA's historic Sellersville Theatre. Michael Henegan
of Greater Planet Entertainment was there to record
this house rockin' event for those who were not fortunate enough
to have been there. Accompanied by bassist Dennis Pinhorn,
Danny Brooks delivered his own brand of 'Soul Shakin'
Blues and Hard Gospel. Performing songs from his previous
releases 'Southern Thing', 'Righteous', and his
latest 'Soulsville', with the kind of energy that you
might find at a tent revival drenched in the Blues. |
